The following applies to any work that is to be carried out by Godsend Office Services.

TYPING

Whilst Godsend Office Services will try to be as accurate as possible with any text that is typed/laid out, it is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that any such work is to their total satisfaction before payment is made.  If after a bill has been issued modifications need to be made to such a document, then additional charges may be incurred.

Godsend Office Services will do its utmost to check any work by way of proofreading, cross-referencing, etc., before it is given back to the client.   However, it is the client’s responsibility to check that they are satisfied with the end result.

TRANSCRIPTION

Similar to above, Godsend will do its utmost to transcribe any work as carefully as possible. However, on occasion original material supplied by the client may be poorly copied, illegible, or inaudible.   It is therefore the client’s responsibility to ensure that any transcription is satisfactory.

MOBILE TELEPHONE ANSWERING SERVICE

Godsend Office Services will answer calls on a client’s behalf. 
The client is responsible for the following:

  • Informing Godsend from the onset appropriate wording on how they would like Godsend to answer the telephone on their behalf and the usual procedure for taking messages.
  • Providing Godsend with an emergency contact telephone number/email address
  • Ensuring that the call divert from the landline to the mobile is successful and testing the line beforehand.  In the same manner, once the mobile telephone has been returned to the client that the client redirects the telephone back to the landline.

PHOTOCOPIES

Godsend will not charge for any photocopies which have not printed properly, i.e. are illegible.  However, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are satisfied with any copies before leaving the premises and paying the appropriate fee.

FAXES

Godsend will send faxes on a client’s behalf.  The machine will produce a printout if the fax has been transmitted satisfactorily.  However, Godsend cannot take responsibility for how the fax will appear at the receiving end, and it is up to the client to check with the receiver that everything is in order.

POST

At the client’s request Godsend can send items out by post (other) on a client’s behalf, but the overall responsibility remains with the client.
